The Jiangxi Copper Group Chengmenshan Project, an unmanned driving demonstration project for copper mines, is another breakthrough in unmanned mine transportation in a humid and rainy environment. At the 2019 World Conference on VR Industry, the project won high praise from Vice Premier Liu He. He said, “As the result of intelligent driving, less-manned, unmanned, efficient and safe production will bring an epoch-making change in China’s mine industry.” The project realizes unmanned driving of articulated trucks, with single vehicles highly intellectualized.
